LIP BLUSH

Lips that have lost colour or definition? Lip blush adds a soft, natural tint and gently balances your shape: your lips, just better.

The technique

Lip blush deposits a soft tint of pigment into the lips to enhance their natural colour, define the lip line, and balance any asymmetry. For darker or cooler lip tones, lip neutralisation can first soften uneven or bluish tones, creating a fresh, even base.

How I help

If your lips have lost colour or shape over time, or your lipstick never lasts, lip blush gives you a natural wash of colour every day. Together we choose a shade that suits your skin and natural lip tone, and you approve the outline before we begin.

Who is it for?

Anyone whose lips have faded or lost definition, who has slight asymmetry, or who would love to wake up with fresh, natural colour.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Leave your details and Kseniia will come back to you personally.

Does it hurt?

Lips are more sensitive than brows, so I use a numbing product and work gently. Most clients find it very manageable.

How do I prepare?

Lip Blush - before your appointment
  • If you've ever had cold sores, speak to your pharmacist or GP about antiviral treatment before your appointment, as lip treatments can trigger them.
  • For two weeks before: avoid lip fillers and lip exfoliation.
  • For a few days before: keep your lips well moisturised with balm, and drink plenty of water.
  • For 24 hours before: avoid alcohol and caffeine.
  • Semi-permanent makeup isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What happens while it heals?

HEALING TIME · AROUND FOUR TO SIX WEEKS FOR THE FINAL COLOUR TO SHOW.

  1. Days 1–3

Colour looks brighter, and lips may feel swollen and tight.

  2. Days 3–7

Lips peel and flake. Let the flakes come away naturally.

  3. Weeks 2–3

Colour may look pale or uneven as fresh skin forms.

  4. Weeks 4–6

The colour "blooms" back into a soft, natural, even tint.

How do I look after them?

  • Apply the balm I give you, as instructed.
  • Avoid hot, spicy, or salty food and very hot drinks for the first few days. Drink through a straw for one to two days after treatment.
  • No lipstick, lip products, or kissing until healed.
  • Don't pick or peel the flakes.
  • Avoid swimming, saunas, and direct sun while healing. Once healed, use an SPF lip balm.

Thinking years ahead for you

When I treat you, I'm already thinking about how your lips will look in two or three years. My training in pigment chemistry and skin structure with a medical doctor, and my specialist lip blush training, help me choose colours that fade softly and evenly, without turning an unwanted shade.
