SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP

MACHINE HAIRSTROKES

Sparse or patchy brows? Ultra-fine hair strokes, placed one by one to follow your natural growth, make your brows look fuller and still like your own.

Searching for microblading or nano brows? This is the same hair-by-hair look, created with a PMU machine instead of a blade. It is gentler on the skin and heals more softly, which is why I work this way.

The technique

Machine hairstrokes are ultra-fine strokes created with a PMU machine rather than a manual microblading tool. Each stroke is placed individually, following the direction your brow hairs naturally grow, so up close they blend with your own hairs.

How I help

If you fill in gaps every morning, or worry that permanent brows will look fake, hairstrokes give you fuller brows with a soft, realistic texture. Because no blade is used, they are gentler on the skin and often heal more softly than microblading.

Who is it for?

Clients with gaps, sparse or over-plucked areas, or thinning brows, who love a natural, hair-by-hair look. Suitable for most skin types, which I'll check at your consultation.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Leave your details and Kseniia will come back to you personally.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe it as mild scratching. I use a numbing product to keep you comfortable, and many clients relax so much they nearly fall asleep.

How do I prepare?

Machine Hairstrokes (microblading, nano brows) - before your appointment
  • For two weeks before: avoid sunbathing, tanning, and anti-wrinkle injections near the brows.
  • For one week before: avoid brow tinting, waxing, and retinol or acids on the brow area.
  • For 24 hours before: avoid alcohol and caffeine, as they can increase lymphatic fluid flow.
  • If you take medication or have a medical condition, please tell me at your consultation, or email me via my contact page. Semi-permanent makeup isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What happens while it heals?

HEALING TIME · AROUND FOUR TO SIX WEEKS FOR THE COLOUR TO FULLY SETTLE.

  1. Days 1–3

Strokes look darker, crisper, and bolder than the final result. A little redness is normal.

  2. Days 4–10

Light flaking and itching. Let the flakes come away naturally.

  3. Weeks 2–3

The strokes may look very light or patchy. This is normal; the colour is still settling.

  4. Weeks 4–6

The colour returns and settles into a soft, natural result. Then we perfect any details at your top-up.

How do I look after them?

  • Keep your brows clean and dry for seven to ten days, and wash your face around them.
  • No swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or long hot showers while healing.
  • No makeup, skincare, acids, or retinol on the brows until healed.
  • Don't pick or scratch.
  • Once healed, SPF helps your colour last.
